: I'm about ready to cut out the hatches on my Night Heron, and I'm thinking
: about not using a front hatch - I like the idea of an unbroken front deck
: and I don't see myself camping in this boat. My question - will the lack
: of a hole in the front make taping the inside seam a LOT harder or just
: marginally harder?
: As always,
: Thanks.

We have done it twice, stripper and SG, pain but there are better way two due the glass than the standard rolling the tape out we used. Love the look of deck. The hatch lets you look better but is still hard to work the ends. The next one we are going to try the hot glue the tape on first method. The Pygmy designer does not use any hatches in his own kayaks.
