I think it's usable as a whole piece construction like the coaming,,in reinforcements bridging panels I don't know given the cost and big picture of what's being connected,,I went manic with a small roll of 10oz unidirectional 2" tape on various constructions but wonder if it really was a necessity but it made for a cool mobius strip of 3mm ply. The tape doesn't lay flat well in some configurations although it was handy for repairing a Whetstone paddle as they appear to have a weak spot in mid blade from the broken ones I've seen. I'd say get the stuff and play with it.
