I'm currently paddling with Greenland paddles, but still use a Euro for whitewater. You may choose to paddle only with the Greenland paddle, but without having spent some time with a "euro", you won't know if it's an "informed" decision.

Or, you might decide the Euro fits your paddling style better. One reason Greenland paddles roll so well is that they have a lot of positive buoyancy....if you use a standard solid glass euro, you won't find this. If you build a Euro like the ones shown in Nick's book, it will have more buoyancy and roll better.
