I finally solved my camera software problem and I can sent you the long awaited debut picture. Now hopefully hpphoto works.

The deck took much longer than I had anticipated (doesn't it always)? I started out with much more modest intentions when I first began. But after having so much fun with the veneers, I might of gotton carried away. (Or as Patsy would say "BUSY".) But if you build it they will come. (Notice the heron behind the deck?)

The front half of the deck is mahogany and of course the rear is pine. These area are separated by a thin inlay of walnut. The rest of the vines and leaves as well as the heron and compass design are various types of veneers.

I'm not sure how well the picture will post, but if anyone wants better pictures I have other pictures with more detail and will be happy to send (providing hpphoto cooperates.)
