To use hpphoto, once you have chosen the photo you want yo display, click on "create auction link" then in the new window showing the photo, on the left there are size choices you can make (thumbnail, large, original). Check the box for the size you want, highlight the link text and click on done.

Here is a photo of a quarter scale kayak model I made using Ross Leidy's Kayak Foundry and linked through hpphoto.
