Thank you Dave... that is very very nice, I've been waiting for someone to do that motif. I intend(ed) to, but now have to wait for the next project due to impatience with finishg my current kayak. Although, I'm tempted to sneak a quick Veneer job on prior to varnishing the deck.

do you guys think A layer of Epoxy, then a few varnish is enough to protect it on the deck, or the upper side of the kayak?
