I went over and checked the specs on the Cirrus. That's definitely a boat for a bigger person. It would be nice to see some specs somewhere in the 16'-16.5 length, 20" beam and front and rear deck heights of no more than 10" and 6" respectively. This would produce a nice day or weekend boat volume boat that is closer to more traditional greenland boat volume for someone 160 lbs and under.

Right now, I have a greenland style stitch and glue with dimensions of 17'5" OAL, beam of 20", and front and rear deck heights of 11" and 7" respectively. I have probably freeboard of 3-4" depending on the amount of day gear I bring along. I am 140 lbs. I think the volume can be reduced more than that for someone around my size. My SOF is 17'x18" with front and rear deck heights of 9" and 5.75" (front is actually higher than I need). With day gear, I am still getting a freeboard of 2". The SOF cruises much easier than my S&G and definitely is easier to roll and perform greenland rolling maneuvers.
