That's one smart thing to ask, for a beginner! :O ! Are you sure you can't already roll?

Yes; find the easiest rolling boat around - asking instructors and just plain vanilla kayakers - and once you get the body mechanics in place move on to wider, bigger, and less co-operative models.

And for new, and more challenging rolls, go back a couple of steps "down the ladder" into an easier boat.

I'm sure you'll have lots of fun - don't mind starting with the easiest tub around, it's important to get "positive feed-back" ASAP.
