Hi Roger, actually if I ever build it life-size, I will be using 3/16" EWC strips and 4oz cloth. The estimated weight would be around 30 to 35 pounds. I built a modified Wee Lassie 10 feet long with the above-mentioned materials and it weighs 20 pounds. I must have made about two dozen designs with Kayak Foundry but it takes money to translate them into real-life boats. At least I'm keeping out of mischief!
