: I am SOOOOOOOOO depressed right now! After over 200 hours of work, I blew it.
I would take a deep breath, step back and look at it. How bad is it really? Can you live with it. If it really bothers you, you won't be happy until you've fixed it. Th best way to fix it is to sand off all the glass. Selective surgery will cause other blotches.You will be better served by just sucking it up and grinding off all the glass and epoxy. This proccess is harder to think about than it is to actually do.
If the idea of all that work strikes you as overkill, then just go ahead and finish it as is. You can always come back and do the big job later. The thing is to make a choice and go with it. I have done both choices and in the end both worked out fine.
In the future, mask around the cracks so you don't get any filler where you don't need it.
