Please help! The glass cloth I used on my first kayak had quite a few creases in it, but I thought I could work the creases out during the wetting out stage. Nope. No matter what I did, the crease would pull free from the deck/hull surface. I ended up with long thin "bubbles" everywhere. How can I avoid this on the next kayak? I've tried ironing the crease. I've tried pressing it between two flat surfaces. Any ideas for removing creases from dry cloth? Or is there a technique to remove creases during wetting out stage? Or do I simply sand through the cured fiberglass and accept that it will be weak in that spot?

Any ideas/tips/techniques appreciated.
