US Composites has a CF/Kevlar cloth where the kevlar is colored. You can get it in Red, Yellow, or Blue. I'm thinking it might be nice for the coamings and rudder of the double I need to get started on.

I did straight CF on my son's Guillemot. I'm not sure how much more work the CF/Kevlar would be. I'd probably use it as the second-to-last layer with a layer of glass on top to ensure the CF/Kevlar didn't get sanded into.
