Ted,,after that drop test you lost interest!!! my god no three point tests, .22 target shooting or tumbling in a rock polishing machine??? One of the funnest things is totally mangling a piece and feeling it come apart. whew,,better go back to therapy.

ok,,I've calmed down,,just out of curiosity were your panels sitting on a flat surface with no bending forces? I wonder if the larger fill coat in the 6oz s-glass sample had any correlation to its impact resistance?

ok,,I just finished adding another layer of 4oz s-glass on the bottom of a friends Coho,,,yes after 4 years of heavy use and getting strapped down on racks it's shown some wear and a few fractures to the glass where there's only one layer of 4oz s-glass on either side,,with a doubled layer on the center bottom panel....now I think I'm going to get that boat up to 50lbs. with all the stuff that's going on it. All this so I can watch my friends in their glass boats that are fully loaded carefully exit amongst the rocks and seaweed while I slide/grind up. Four layers of 4oz s-glass on the bottom center panel HAHAHAHA,,,,HAHAAHAA,,haahaha,,damn, fell in the water again.
