Thanks for the info, guys. No decision yet. I want to sit on it for a few more days and think about it. I'm leaning towards finishing the boat "as is". As a first building project, I've already learned a ton of stuff to improve the next boat, so I just need to shake the expectations that this one will be perfect. Not to mention, it will paddle just as well regardless of the errors.
