I don't have the Brian Boggs model, but I do have the smaller bronze one made by Lie-Nielsen. It's a very nice tool, I don't think you can go wrong with anything built by L-N... but you should also consider the wooden body spoke shaves by "Dave's Shaves" ( www.ncworkshops.com ). I bought his No. 1 Standard spoke shave and it is beautiful to look at and a joy to use.
