I bought that Veritas spokeshave. Unfortunately I have not put it to wood yet to test it. But what I liked about it was the 180 degree rotatable toe for convex and concave worksurfaces.

It feels good in the hand and it seems very easy to adjust. I have not tried it on a wetstone to see if it needs truing - I should probably do that soon.
