I wondered what had happened to John as well?
I sent him an email over the winter to see how he was. He said he was well, but his shop was too cold to work on the Shooting Star (I think) over the winter. He also said he was working out quite hard so he would be in better shape and lifting his kayak on the car wouldn't be such a chore.
Maybe now that it is warming up he will be in a "kayak" frame of mind and we will hear form him again.
