Yes, the very first kayakI built was the Kavat by Björn Thomasson.
That was in -98 and she is still going strong. The cockpit could be of a different shape though. #2 and #3 was both Kavat´s but I designed a new deck for them and a new cockpit. Kavat is a nice kajak and she is ideal for novice paddlers.
In the study circle there was two Najad´s built. Najad is a big kayak, 580cm long and rather slim. Not a beginners choice I think. Fast, needs rudder and
skill.
Björn Thomasson is a very skilled paddler and designer and he knows a lot about kayaks and kayaking.
