: I was out so long the first outing, that my back started aching so I had to
: standup just for a stretch. I was in a bunch of small cypress trees and
: only about 4' deep, I grabbed on to a tree and was able to stand to
: stretch, whew that felt good. I tried to balance, it was impossible, like
: standing on both ends of a 20" seesaw.
: Might could pole it, but I would be concerned of sticking the pole in the
: muddy bottom just at the wrong time.
: Those guys in Ecuador, have got to be getting wet often, unless, the boat is
: real heavy and most of the weight is in the bottom of the boat, hmmmm!
I think it's about practice in one of them narrow boats. I poled my brothers boat for about 10 minutes. If I was to regularly pole his boat it would become much easier. Also, if there was some ballast in the boat, it would handle better. Guess I could paddle out in the boat in the morning and pole back in the evening when it's chock full of fish.
