I am finishing up an osprey and a coho, I found that pulling the wire was a piece of cake. Most of the wires come out easily and the ones that don't I would heat up and they came out fine. Don't skimp on filling your seams as it is another cycle of waiting for epoxy to cure before you can move on to the next step. I used a good pair of dykes and a pair of needlenose. If the wire is buried in the epoxy and you haven't waited too long the epoxy will be soft enough to push the tip of your wirecutter into the epoxy far enough to cut it. Then heat the other end with your soldering iron and grab it with your pliers and it should pull out easily.
