I've been playing around with some ideas for flush fittings. I have the plans for wood ones from Shearwater and I have seen ones made up from PVC caps with a rod thru o hole in the cap.

I used a 1/4" plexiglass rod in one mock up and it looked sort of cool. The store had several colors of the rod material, and I got to thinking,, ?? What if I could find a cap made out of material like the plexi-rods??

The PVC caps work,but they look like PVC,Duh!

Any ideas out there?? Thanks Terry
