: At the museum, we had our second annual blessing of the fleet this past
: Saturday. We invite all the folks that have built boats in our classes to
: bring them to a local beach for a blessing, mutual admiration, and mess
: about. We've been very fortunate both years (so far) to have exceptionally
: nice weather despite ominous forecasts. This past winter was way too long
: and way too depressing, which made the launching that much nicer. This pic
: was a sampling of folks that gathered this year. We're still working on
: getting the plastic yaks owner to build her own boat...maybe next winter.
