Hey, folks. I have a question specific to the Outer Island, regarding fairing/sanding the interior of the deck. I understand that the interior does not have to be as fair/sanded as the exterior. But, when I do it, I want to get the cockpit area looking good. So, while it's obvious that the interior of the hull in the cockpit area will be plainly visible, it's not so clear to me how much of the deck interior will be visible. Clearly, the area immediately under the deck will not, but what about the sides as you move down towards the shear? How much of that will be visible? I'm thinking that I need to pay attention to about an inch up fromt he shear, but since my cockpit isn't cut out yet (so that I can just look and see), it's just a guess.
My interest in this is that I can either just "fill" the voids if it won't be visible, but I'll want to spend additional time getting it to look right if it is visible.
Thanks for the help!
Rick
