On mine, I just filled, sanded and glassed normaly. I just wasn't overall as picky as I was on the exterior. Although everything is visible if you stick your head in, prolly no one is gonna notice. I think just normal craftsmanship is all that's required ... for your own peace of mind, you're not gonna wanna do less.
