Get that yak varnished, man! I kow it's tough not to paddle. I've had to sacrifice several beeeeeeeeeuuuuuuutiful days varnishing and prepping my yak for my big trip but it has to be done. You don't want those nasty little UV beasties breaking down your glue until one day the yak just suddenly explodes in a powdery cloud of UV'ed glue and you sink with your panels. Hehe! To be honest, I paddled all last fall with only a single thin coat of varnish coz I absolutely had to get out and paddle. The little voices in my head were urging me to get out and enjoy the yak before the winter freeze-up. You know, you could add one layer of varnish a week until you get the required 3-4 coats. That way you can have your cake, ice it and eat it, too! By the way, I loved reading at your site. Great work on the yaks!
