Oh lordy, I'm havin' fun ragging on poor Mister Pruden. I ought to be ashamed of myself. Heheheheh.

Seriously, I paid close attention to my manual when I built my first (and only so far) boats from plans, but only for the basics. I figured anything I wanted add or modify was fair game, as long as the modifications were not drastic. My boats turned out way better than I ever imagined they might, so I urge people to let their imagination run wild after the basic structure has been attended to properly. After all, half the reason we build our own boats is to stand apart from the crowd. So stand apart!
