Hey Lennie,

The idea for the thigh braces came from Nick Schade. It was included in his building notes when I bought the plans for the "L". All you do is strip a little extra in the front half of the opening when you strip the recess, then cut the size and shape you want when you cut out for the cockpit. Very easy to do.
