: Hay guys,I'm new to this....what is a hybrid?

It's a stitch and glue kayak with a stripped deck. I suppose that, more generally, it would be any mix of different construction types. As in, my (almost almost almost finished) Cormorant 18 uses different construction techniques : I built strip planks and then stitched and glued them together.
