I bolted my rack on b/c I wanted to be able to haul other items and thought I would need to modify to a 4 kayak carrier somewhere down the road. With enough thought and a little motivation anything is possible.

I toyed with the ideas of a retractable tounge, receiver hitch type connectors for the rack attachments, and taillight extenders. Time frame dictated simplicity, so creativity had to be delayed.
