: Nice idea for the hip braces. Did you use hot glue to hold the vertical
: coaming strips that are on top of the braces upright while stripping?

Hey Bobby,
I used Elmers Carpenters glue between the strips, but, glued them in place with Ross Super Glue Gel from the Dollar General store. One pack with two little tubes (.123 oz ((3.5 gm)) each) was all it took. (abt $3) Just hold it in place for a few seconds, then move on to the next strip. Just make sure you don't glue yourself to the boat . . wearing gloves isn't one of my stong points. BTW, the idea came from Nick. And . . it is a cool idea, especially since your stripping the recess anyway. One stone = two birds.
Happy Building.
Charles.
