: Dan and Robert: Thanks for clarifying the issue.

: My deck has a series of different veneers and I had purchased some furniture
: crayons with the idea of filling the holes with the appropriate crayon
: prior to epoxying. The crayons are not as handy as I had hoped.

: So now I am running a couple of tests blending epoxy with varying amounts of
: cabosil, wood dust and filleting blend. I have drilled holes in a scrap
: piece of wood upon which I have glued scraps of the veneer. Then with a
: syringe I am inserting a couple of drops into each of the holes. Before
: hardening I will scrape off and then glass over. Hopfully I will come up
: with a epoxy/filler combination that works.

: My backup plan had been to just glass over without filling but I think I will
: toss out that option.

: BTW I am building a Cirrus.

Cover the back side of the holes with masking tape before filling or you will have to contend with drips on the inside.
