Now if you throw together a wire framework for a kayak, you could plaster it with any of the concrete left over from pouring the foundation for the garage. then you'ld have a concrete kayak, too.
Just a thought -- probably influenced by my reading of "Ferrocement Boat Construction" by Chris Cairncross, which amazon.com says is out of print, but my library happened to have it and I happened to see it and ...
If you are interested in reading this fascinating book, ask your library to request it through interlibrary loan. If no one else has it, they can try getting it from the Wheaton Illinois public library.
