I'm about ready to put the deck on the Cirrus. I've just got to mount my foot braces and rough fit the bulkheads and it will be ready to go. My question has to with working with epoxy outside in broad daylight..."shudder" (creepy chill goes up spine)!
I'd really like to get this kayak out of my cellar and work on it outside. Someone mentioned on this board a week or two ago that epoxy shouldn't be exposed to UV while it cures. Is this true? Can I safely bring this project outside for a few weeks while I finish it without compromising the integrity of the epoxy?
Am I being overconcerned?
I'd far rather put the deck on out side in proper ventilation than do all that confined space work in my basement. I'm using MAS epoxy.
Speak to me and I will rest assured.
Best, Dave
