I need to add a rod holder to my boat, but am not overly thrilled with the commercial offerings. Besides, I just like making my own stuff! So... anyone out there making their own rod holders for yak fishing?

Gerald, how do you handle your fishin' rods when afloat? Oh by the way, you ought to look at that moth's 'shiny stuff' under a microscope sometime. I bet you'd get a kick out of it, and maybe launch a whole new hobby (as if you needed another one...).
