OK, the next step is the fill coats. I used RAKA slow hardener on the glass. How long do I wait to do the first fill coat? Do I want to get past it being at all tacky?
The goal is very, very thin coats, right? Brush it on, squeegee it around, tip it off, watch for runs. Anything else to consider?
Is it safe to do fill coats with fast hardener? I'm starting to run a little low of the slow and I still have the inside to glass, which definitely calls for slow. I've got about an inch of slow left in the half gallon jug, two inches of the fast, three inches of resin in the gallon jug. I'm wondering if I should order more slow hardener. If I get partway through glassing the inside and run out, it will be a disaster.
Thanks for any and all thoughts and advice.
