Patsy - Congrtulations on your first epoxy. The imtimidation of your first time is always worse than the actual process. Using slow hardeners, you might have to wait 12 - 24 hours for it to set up depending on temperature. But get followup coats on before fully hardening or you will have to lightly sand to remove the blush that may form from curing. If you continue this process you won't have to sand until the end. I favor slow hardeners as I'm a novice builder for the sheer fact that I never wan't to be rushed at this stage of the project. Fill coats are much easier though as opposed to wetting out glass which is painstakingly slow and deliberate. You might give the fast hardener a shot, just work in small batches starting from one end and going to the other and you should be able to keep up to the epoxy before it kicks.
Good luck with the fill coats - DAVE
