With glacial-like speed I am approaching the glassing phase on the deck. I have now finished adding epoxy to the joints between panels.
Because of the veneers that I applied to the deck panels and some misalignements I have some edges between deck panels that are out of whack by 1-2 mm. The 2 mm area is near the stern and I am going to fill this with clear epoxy before glassing.
I still need to sand the edges between panels to reduce some of the joint epoxy and take a bit of the sharp edges out.
Here is my question: Should I be concerned about the glass not adhereing to misaligned sections and creating an air bubble? How severe a "drop" between deck panels will the glass be able to adhere to?
Thanks, Grant
