Salt water acts as a preservative on bare wood, so it's a good idea not to rinse out a skin-on-frame boat with fresh water. I can't think of any benefit of leaving salt water on a boat that's been glassed. On the other hand, I haven't found any downside to it, either. The way I look at it, my boats get rinsed the next time I take them out.
