Well, after seeing John Schroeder's boat and reading the BB for a while I have started building the King. I am one of 5 folks that bought plans at the same time here in Phoenix. I put on the shear strips tonight and already think that they aren't perfect. I'll take a look tomorrow with a few of clamps off to get a better view. I've seen a lot of good info from all of you and hope to put it good use. And this won't be one the cheapest boats made - John kidnapped me last Tuesday and forced me to buy a table saw! The tools that I've been buying.....
