why is there water?

:) Well... I got a 'little' water in my boat tonight as well - but it couldn't have been from the hatches ('cause I haven't got any yet!). I'll have to, uh, see what I can do about making the shock cord holes more water tight! That ought to help, uh, alot!

Ah. That's a clever way to do it! But, I still have time to change the way mine are done. Er. Time and motivation since I see that the lines won't do much good where they are anyway...
