If building your own plnae, or modifying the bottom of an existing plane is more work than you want to do, then check this page of tools from a surfboard building company. They have an aluminum plane which does flat and curved areas, for about $16, and a wooden plane from japan with a curved sole for aout $42.

You can also use a curved bottom Surfoam file/plane, which is realtively inexpensive and easily found at a good hardware store.
