I built a Ches 16lt from plans.

I,m 5'10" and about 165lbs. The boat is fine for me. I use it only as a day boat - I'm not packing 75lbs worth of gear for extended trips.

It went together very well. Previeous to this project, the last woodworking I did was in high school. I had no problems and built a beatiful boat.
