I wouldn't really call the CLC
: line "high performance" though. You may get to the point where
: you'll want something else but CLC is a good way to get started/on the
: water.
I almost agree with you Chip, but the performance of their boat is highly respectable. Recently I did a 20Km race in my old chesapeake 18. On 30 boats I finish 6. In front of me was a surf-ski and a double kayak wich were not in the same class. Just behing that 3 necky Looksha II, wich is consider the ferrari of kayak racing, and then me. All other fiberglass kayak, other wooden kayak and plastic kayak were behing me by at least 15 minutes. I also build this boat to get started but over 6 years paddling this thing that my friend gently call the "beluga" i realise that it is a hell of a boat for the money.
