I built a canoe from Moore's book and found it very thorough. At his web site there are a few 17 footers listed, among others. Mine is a version of the Bob's Special, stretched to 17 feet. It used to be pictured as the "Jenny-B" at the Newfound Woodworks site. Very stable, tracks straight. I hope the link shows up!
