: I really thought I was past the hard stuff. Pretty funny, huh? Each new stage
: brings so much to learn. Maybe by the time I'm finished epoxying I'll feel
: like I have a clue as to what I'm doing. Sure hope so. Right now I'm just
: grateful each time I do a layer and don't totally screw up the boat. I
: fear I will have an awful lot of sanding to do.

: Not whining, just noting how hard it is to get good at this. No matter how
: much you read and talk to people, you still have to just do it and
: experiment and find out what works and what doesn't.

: Still having fun,the boat still looks beautiful, and it's still progressing
: towards the water. What more can I ask?

Not sure you can get good or be relaxed about applying epoxy. I still struggle with the application on every glassing job. I think we just develope a bigger tolerance for flaws.
