Check out the "Beaver" Canadian canoe by Iain Oughtred.

Here's a quote I found about the Beaver. "This canoe was an attempt by Iain's own admission to go a little better than the already excellent offerings of Ted Moores from Bear Mountain.

The boat he has produced reminds me of the deep bodied Moores' Chestnut Prospector combined with the relatively low rockered, fast straight tracking and extremely popular Redbird touring canoe. Nice one, Iain."

I have the plans for the Beaver and the forms cut but haven't had the chance to build it yet. The boat has great lines.
