: Sometimes our eyes fool us into seeing deviations that aren't there.
: First make sure it's in fact NOT straight. Put the boat, keel up across your
: building supports. Attach a piece of wood to the bow with a clamp so that
: a length of string (attached to the piece of wood)is centered over the
: keel at the bow water-line. Run the string aft to the stern, just above
: the keel. Holding it taut, you will have a straight line frame of
: reference against which you can evaluate the keel line. That should tell
: you if you've any deviation on your keel line, and if so, how much.

I have done that. It's really the little twist at the end. I'm going to loosen the seam and set it back in. Gotta do it.
