Now you are being clearer,,there was no misunderstanding. My $.02 is that you aren't ready yet. Go to CLCs showroom, check out the Arctic Hawk Jay made, come on down to Quiet Waters and rent the huge Chesapeake 18 that's there (tell e'm Lee sent you,,unless it's on a trip). There are folks all over town with upturned Chesapeakes in the back yard and it's a lot less than 30yrs. There's an epoxy strip canoe with bad sun damage and a nice awlgrip paint job for sale for $700 in town,,I sold my Patuxent 17 for $500, a northbay for $1100,,if you're in the boonies it'll take forever to sell it. If you don't plan on using it but want to make something then don't expect to sell it. Makes a great swing for little kids.
