I really liked the t-nut idea. I checked around a few hardware stores here and the best I could do for stainless t-nuts was $1.80 per. I needed 8 of them (2 padeyes at stern and bow). I just wasn't up to paying $15.00 for 8 nuts. Call me cheap.
As I really won't require to remove the padeyes often (if ever) I went with the stainless nylock nuts I had. The screws are only in finger tight so I don't anticipate any problem getting them out. I'll still probably touch a soldering iron to them before I remove them.
As soon as these harden the deck is going on. Woo Hoo!!!
