: Hey I had a great day today - I managed to tape the interior seams without
: incident using the technique outlined at Jay Babina's site (hot-gluing the
: tape in place ahead of time).

: Anyway, my question: should I do the end-pour next, or should I tape the
: exterior seam first, or does it matter? It seems to me that if I do the
: end-pours now before I take all the strapping tape off I'm less likely to
: have epoxy leak out. However, there may be good reasons to tape the
: exterior seams first - what do you think?

: As always, thanks!
For us it was a question of how hard are we going to treat the kayaks, coming down a wave and sticking the bow in the sand and doing a 180, the end pour gives us peace of mind. We did them as per Nick's great book.
